Hi, I’m Lucy — founder of Dogs Beese & Knees.

Dogs Beese & Knees was created from a genuine passion for dogs, dog welfare, and helping owners find safe, comfortable, and practical products for their dogs.

Based in South Gloucestershire, I offer a mobile, appointment-based harness fitting service, bringing professional fitting directly to your door to make the process easier and less stressful for both you and your dog.

My focus is simple: fit, comfort, and welfare first.

A poorly fitted harness can affect a dog’s movement, comfort, and confidence, which is why I take the time to assess each dog individually and recommend the right fit for their shape, needs, and lifestyle.

I understand that not every dog finds fittings easy. Some dogs are nervous, reactive, rescued, or sensitive to handling, scarring, or certain materials. That’s why my approach is calm, patient, and dog-led — allowing each dog the time and space they need to feel comfortable.

I am proud to be an approved stockist of trusted brands including Twiggy Tags and Perfect Fit Harnesses, offering high-quality harnesses, leads, collars, and accessories designed with comfort, function, and safety in mind.

Alongside fittings, I also offer a carefully selected range of natural treats and enrichment products, chosen to support health, wellbeing, and happy dogs.

My goal is to build a trusted local service where owners feel supported, informed, and confident in the products they choose for their dogs — because every dog deserves to walk comfortably, safely, and happily.
